We’ve been fortunate to meet many new couples through our past couples. Kristie & Maclaine heard about us from Casey & Eli. We knew if Kristie and Maclaine were friends with Casey & Eli (who also happen to be very good friends of ours) we were going to get along well. Since they live on the West Coast, our first chance to meet them was the evening before their wedding in NYC. There was a chance of showers, so we found a spot that could work well in all weather – Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. I do love Boston and the landscape of the New England coast, but I must admit that spending an evening roaming around Central Park – listening to buskers and taking in the city, made me want to move there. Or – more people can have us photograph their weddings (engagements, families, etc.) in NYC and we’ll just visit more often. (Get in touch!)
I often get asked if the complimentary pre-wedding shoot can be taken out of a wedding package. Meeting our couples before their wedding day is really important to us. The photographs we’re able to capture, with all the emotion of the day, comes from our couples feeling comfortable with the cameras and knowing us a bit (even if just for a couple of hours the day before the wedding).
Check back on Wednesday for Kristie & Maclaine’s wedding photographs at the Pratt House in NYC.
Stunning shots!Love them!
